Early Childhood Centre - Staff

Angela is the supervisor of the over two centre and oversees all 3 centres. Angela has a Diploma of Teaching and has full teacher registration and has been teaching for 20 years. Angela has a passion for story-telling, creative writing and creative language. She is married to Andrew and has 3 daughters, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a chinchilla.


Marilyn has a Bachelor of Education (Early Years) through the Massey University and is currently completing teacher registration. Marilyn has been with Paddingtons for three years. Marilyn has a passion for literacy, maths, music and health and fitness. She is married to Mike and has 3 grown-up daughters.


Aki has been with Paddingtons for four years, and has previously worked as a teacher in Japan. Aki is currently working towards the Bachelor of Teaching ECE at Waikato University. Aki has a passion for messy play and cooking and is wonderful at teaching the children the Japanese language.



Alison has just completed her Diploma of Teaching through WINTEC, Alison has been with Paddingtons for 3 years. Alison has a passion for literacy. She has 5 children and is married to Kevin.




Sara has graduated with a Diploma of Ece teaching through WINTEC and is working on her teacher registration. She is very interested in music and creative arts, literacy and dramatic play. Sara also likes to share her traditional Chinese culture within the centre. Sara dances and goes to music classes in her spare time, and also contributes to a weekly Chinese programme on a local radio station.

Mayuri has been relieving for Paddingtons for the last 2 years. She is starting her Diploma of Teaching ECE through Open Polytech this year and looks forward to gaining this qualification. When Mayuri isn’t working for Paddingtons, she loves to be cooking at home and doing things with her family.


Billie works part time each day, as our lunchtime teacher and teacher release reliever.
